The crisp blue uniforms on the smiling staff and the advanced technology reveal that you’re in the Schramm Health Center. Here, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing residents enjoy the same delicious recipes served in the fine dining room, carefully adapted for special diets. It’s The Pines at Davidson lifestyle with an extra measure of caring.

Every week, a variety of activies is offered including ice cream outings, exercise, music, vespers, gardening and more! Davidson College students visit weekly, too—some volunteer as freshman and stay on for four years.

Above all, you’ll always find visitors from Independent Living, sharing smiles or a meal with their friends here. Their strong bonds help keep spirits strong and attitudes positive—and that has a definite impact on health outcomes. That’s the unique quality of our continuum of care: It’s an integral part of our way of life.
