 The
Pines is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on a
beautiful, wooded 50-acre campus at 400 Avinger Lane in Davidson, NC. The
Pines owns an additional 53 acres of the surrounding property purchased as
an investment for the future. The Pines is designed to provide housing
and services, including health care, to people of retirement age and
consists of independent living cottages and apartments, common facilities,
a wellness center,
and health care facilities.
A central building contains
158 residential units consisting of 8 studio apartments, 30 deluxe studio
apartments, 79 one-bedroom apartments, 28 two-bedroom apartments, 10
two-bedroom suites, and 3 two-bedroom deluxe apartments. There are
also 44 detached cottage units.

The Schramm Health Center
is designed to accommodate 67 residents, with 20 beds in the Assisted
Living Unit and 47 beds (39 private and 8 semi-private) in the Hidell
Nursing Unit.
The Schramm Health Center
also includes the Workman Wellness Center. The Workman Wellness
